Get To Know Vlad

Any company is only as good as its people. At Triton, we’re lucky to have team members who have mastered their trades—from content writing to web development—and a leadership team that strives to build an environment where employees feel empowered and supported. Collaboration is key to our success; we each bring our unique knowledge and experience to the table to provide well-rounded services to our clients in a variety of industries.

As a relatively small, family-owned business, it’s also important that every person on Team Triton has a diverse skill set and willingness to adapt to a wide range of tasks and situations. Our Project Specialist, Vlad, embodies those traits in his role every day. One of Triton’s long-standing employees, Vlad wears many hats throughout his work day, pitching in wherever he can to ensure our projects run smoothly and deadlines are met.

Read on to learn more about Vlad and how he partners with the rest of our team to get shit done.

Can You Share A Little Bit About Your Background And What Led You To Your Role At Triton?

Most of my work experience prior to joining Triton involved retail management and consumer electronics. It was a natural fit with the needs of this company in its early days, and I have been with them since. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a part of Triton and to see it grow into what it is today!

Tell us a bit more about your role and everyday responsibilities for Triton.

A little bit of everything. Updating blogs, completing website update tickets, site build-outs, writing content related to industries I have career experience in, and just about anything else that needs to get done.

What Do You Enjoy Most About Your Position?

Being involved in large projects and seeing them develop from concept to finished product. Also working remotely, as I get to see my kids whenever they are home, and would not trade that for anything in the world.

What are some challenges unique to your role?

Being able to learn on the fly. The coding aspects of website creation can be very dynamic. There is no room for error, and client deadlines must be met without question.

What is the most valuable thing you've learned so far during your time at Triton?

The incredible amount of work and collaboration that goes into making a successful website.

If you had to trade jobs with one person at Triton for a day, who would you pick and why?

Our CEO Corey, because then I would know everything there is to know all at once!

Heard You're a Polygot! Why and how did you learn to speak so many languages?

My dad was Polish, my mom was Russian, I had a Ukranian uncle, then I learned English in first grade. I also took German in high school.

When you were 5, what did you want to be when you grew up?

An astronaut.

What are some of your favorite things to do outside of work?

Spending time with my kids, building really sick computers, recreational shooting, listening to music, watching movies and cooking.
