Can You Share A Little Bit About Your Background And What Led You To Your Role At Triton?

“I grew up in consumer electronics working for Audio King, and later, I was a consumer electronics rep selling to (Triton Commerce's CEO) Corey at the previous company he owned with his brother Nick, Home Technology Store based out of Rochester, MN. When they sold Home Technology Store, to make a long story short, we started Triton together, and I came in as the sales and service end. Corey and Nick had experienced my salesmanship and wanted me to work with them.”

Tell us a bit more about your role as the VP of Client Operations for Triton.

“I work with new and existing clients, selling them solutions that our team feels will best help them achieve their current goals. Additionally, I handle complicated issues should they arise with an account. I’m also our Drone Pilot and FAA 107 licensed to fly commercially.”

What inspired you to start your own business?

“Independence. I wanted to make my own way and had a chance to do it. I took the risk and am very glad I did."

What Do You Enjoy Most About Your Role?

“Our clients. I love and care for them in a way I never thought I could.”

Describe a typical day for you in your role.

“I have a lot of meetings with current and potential clients throughout the week. I also make calls and am basically communicating with people in some way all day long.”  

What's the most valuable thing you've learned so far in your time at Triton?

“Most entrepreneurs want the same thing I want: a good day’s work for a good day’s pay; to put a smile on your customer’s face; and to go home, enjoy your life, then wake up and do it all over again. It sounds like the movie Groundhog Day, but there is a beauty in it as well. I feel like I helped people be independent in their own lives and got paid to do it.”

What advice do you have for a business owner who wants to reach more customers online?

“Be the tortoise. Slow and steady wins the race.” 

If You Had To Trade Jobs With One Person At Triton For A Day, Who Would you Pick and Why?

"Our new videographer Matt Eckholm. I've always wanted to be creative and make something. I have a bit of talent with a camera and would love to someday explore that part of our service further.”  

When you were 5, what did you want to be when you grew up?

"A pilot!"

Where is one place you've never been to, but would love to visit?

"Turks and Caicos."

What are some of your favorite things to do outside of work?

"I like being active and on the go boating, jet skiing, snowboarding, and playing tennis. If I'm more in the mood to be home enjoying a bit of downtime, you can find me working on my car or stereo systems, playing my guitar, and hanging out with my dog Dash!"

What is your dream car?

"A Porsche 911 GT2 RS. 0-60 in 2.7 seconds...OMG! Talk about a rush!"
