Founded in 2003, Doehling Landscape Services has established itself as a trusted provider of professional lawn and landscape care throughout Shakopee, Minnesota. Led by founder and owner Matt Doehling, the company combines decades of experience with a customer-first mindset.

Despite a strong reputation and dedicated client base, their site no longer met the team's needs or market expectations. While their internal team members like Joe (with a marketing degree) and Mike (a former SEO/SEM professional) contributed marketing support internally, they acknowledged gaps in digital strategy and execution. Their existing site, built 4–6 years ago, was visually appealing but disorganized, hard to navigate, and difficult to update. No analytics had been implemented, and lead conversions weren’t tracked. As a seasonal business in the midwest, most leads occur between mid-March and June, creating short marketing windows and high pressure to perform.

We started with designing and developed a fully custom website that showcased transparent pricing and prioritized user experience. We integrated new photography, highlighted the team to build trust, and developed dedicated pages for each of their core services.

Our Results:

Monthly sessions grew from 481 to 738 — a 53% increase in site activity over 11 months.

There have been over 710 conversions since launching, averaging a 20.8% sitewide conversion rate.

Our strategy also included implementation of SEO best practices and conversion tracking tools on form submissions, phone clicks, and bounce rates. Since going live, Doehling Landscape Service’s site has experienced a notable uptick in qualified leads, increased user engagement, more consistent traffic, and stronger conversion rates, helping them meet their goal of adding new clients while maintaining their high service standards.

Key Metrics:

3,406 new users were acquired between May 2024 and June 2025 -- averaging 262 new users each month!

April 2025 holds the record for the most new users at 471.

Results:

Since launching the new website, Doehling Landscape Services has seen strong growth across the board. Sessions more than doubled from 233 in June 2024 to 554 in June 2025, and page views jumped by 87%! Users are staying longer and viewing more, with engagement time up 64% and average pages per visit increasing from 3.5 to 3.8.

Conversions have also followed suit. In June 2025 alone, the site captured 73 total conversions—over five times more than the previous year! Organic conversions made up 64 of those, reflecting how effectively the SEO strategy is bringing in high-quality leads.

The combination of strong SEO, smart site structure, and compelling service pages has helped their digital presence dominate in their local search area. The website isn’t just a digital brochure anymore—it’s become a core part of their sales funnel.
