Chris, a marketing graduate from St. Cloud University and entrepreneur with media buying experience, joined Triton as an Account Executive in early November 2020.

Can You Share A Little Bit About Your Background And What Led You To Your Role At Triton?
My background is in small business growth. From working in the TV advertising industry to owning my own small business, I’ve learned how to successfully market a brand and help them grow.
Tell us a bit more about your role and everyday responsibilities for Triton.
As an account executive, I am the first point of contact for a lead all the way through to them becoming a client. I view myself as an educator who helps small businesses understand the value of digital marketing. I listen to their needs and concerns and help craft customized solutions to help them.
What Do You Enjoy Most About Your Position?
The single greatest satisfaction I get from my role is seeing the excitement of a client when they hit a particular milestone, which was made possible by Triton’s services.
What are some challenges unique to your role?
The biggest challenge is explaining the value of SEO, while also explaining the patience needed for it to work in full effect!
What's the most valuable thing you've learned so far during your time as part of Team Triton?
If there’s a will, there's a way. I have had many clients who initially thought we wouldn’t be a good fit, but we were able to come up with a unique, customized solution that helped their business grow its online presence.
If you got to trade jobs with anyone on Team Triton for a day, who would it be and why?
Matt Eckholm, our Digital Media Specialist, because I am in love with video as a medium and what it can do for audiences in the business world, as well as the artistic world.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to work at a U.S. embassy in a foreign country.
Instead, you ended up running an online auction business?
Yes. It was WildPeak Auctions. We did estate sales and business liquidations. We would go to the property and take pictures and do research on the various items, upload pictures and descriptions to an online bidding platform, host viewing days, and have pickup days for the winning bidders.
What's something else unique or interesting about you that others might not know?
I have jumped off the highest bungee jump in the world! (Bloukrans, South Africa).
What are some of your favorite things to do when you're not working?
Play disc golf, go camping with my wife, Katie, walk my dog, Buddy, and TRAVEL!
